Bats at Aysgarth Falls
A short walk looking for bats around Aysgarth Falls and Freeholders’ Wood with Tony from our wildlife team. We will walk down to the river and around through the woods to discover where our bats like to fly and to learn more about these wonderful animals.
Please bring a torch as we will be walking on uneven ground in the dark, and be prepared to stand around outside. This event will be cancelled in the event of wet weather or high winds.
This is a YDNPA level 1 walk. The route is barrier free and may be suitable for wheelchairs, please enquire for more details. Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear with good grips.
Dogs not allowed. (Assistance dogs welcome)
