From Tarn to Cove – Where Did the Water Go?

Children are free, but we need to know how many people in total to expect.

A spectacular 3 mile (4.8km) walk through classic limestone scenery. See the impact of people on the landscape, from the first inhabitants 10,000 years ago to farmers today. Follow the water until it vanishes underground and then walk through the dramatic dry valley of Watlows to the top of Malham Cove for stunning views.

A level 2 YDNPA walk led by Nick Berry; the route includes stiles, uneven ground and slight gradients across open countryside. Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear with good grips.

Dogs not allowed. (assistance dogs welcome)
