Walking in the Dales

Barns, Walls and Bridges

  • £500

Children are free, but we need to know how many people in total to expect.

Join our experienced Dales Volunteers on this moderate 4 mile (6.7km) guided walk  in Herriot country to discover some of the barns, walls and bridges of Upper Wensleydale. You can enjoy panoramic views and the historic town of Hawes and villages of Sedbusk and Hardraw. We will see an old packhorse bridge and walk on part of the route used by Lady Anne Clifford as she frequently travelled from Skipton to Penrith  450 years ago to inspect her castles.
For more information contact Hawes National Park Centre

What about adding one of these?..
