A guided walk (about 4miles) with Dr. David Johnson on Abbotside Common looking at flagstone quarries and mines below Stags Fell, limestone quarrying at Shutt Gate and millstone working on Stags Fell. Meet at the cattle grid between Simonstone and the Buttertubs (OL30 SD 865 928).
