Saving The Dark Film Screening - Saturday 2nd March 2018
80% of the world’s population live under light polluted skies. What do we lose when we lose sight of the stars? Excessive and improper lighting robs us of our night skies, disrupts our sleep patterns and endangers nocturnal habitats. Saving the Dark explores the need to preserve night skies and what we can do to combat light pollution.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park and partners are delighted to announce 3 exclusive screenings of this thought-provoking film during the Dark Skies Festival 2019.
The screening will start at 6:30pm for 1 hour, and will include a hot drink and delicious homemade biscuit, provided by the Firebox café.
