Children are free, but we need to know how many people in total to expect.

A 6 mile (10 km) guided walk learning about the source of the River Aire, limestone, the tragic men of Hanlith, a Dales cathedral’s watery grave, a dissenter community, a Civil War battle, early industry and wildlife. Take in the settlements of Airton, Kirkby Malham and Hanlith, following the Pennine Way with views back to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar.

The walk is on easy paths with a small amount of climbing and some stiles.

Walk starts from Malham National Park Centre BD23 4DA. Please leave enough time for parking as it may be busy.

Please wear sturdy footwear and bring a packed lunch and drink.

Dogs not allowed.
