Settle Town Trail
A short walk exploring the origins of the ancient market town of Settle. Hear how Settle became an industrial centre and how it turned itself around when the turnpike road was built. Discover a man’s Folly, a Quaker meeting house, the smallest art gallery in the world and some hidden corners.
A level 1 YDNPA walk led by John Bentley. This walk is through the town on pavements, it is barrier free, with a couple of steep hills.
You may bring your dog, but please keep it under close control on a short lead.
