Spring Flowers in Freeholders’ Wood
Join Tony Serjeant from our wildlife team to walk amongst the bluebells. Learn how to identify spring flowers of Freeholders Wood and find out how the woods are managed with traditional coppicing and how that benefits the local wildlife. There’s a lot to discover in this fascinating woodland!
A level 1 YDNPA walk; 1.5 miles, the walk is barrier free on fairly level ground and is accessible for some wheelchairs. The ground may be muddy after rain.
Please wear outdoor clothes appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear with good grips.
Well behaved dogs allowed on a short (2m or less) fixed lead.
