Children are free, but we need to know how many people in total to expect.

A ½ mile stroll exploring the three different methods of lime production carried on here, including the intriguing Hoffmann Kiln which enabled lime to be produced in a continuous process. Come and explore this little known archaeological gem which has to be seen to be believed.

Take the B6479 from Settle. Just beyond Langcliffe village take the turning on the right opposite Fairhurst Stone Merchants. Go under the railway and follow the road to the car park.

A level 2 YDNPA walk led by Bernard Foster; the walk is short but the route includes stiles, uneven ground and steps. Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear with good grips.

Well behaved dogs welcome but must be on short (2m) fixed leads.
