Children are free, but we need to know how many people in total to expect.

A 4½ mile (7km)  walk (with just one steep climb), on the old King’s Highway to Cleatop Park Wood. We will talk about Settle and the people who used the King’s Highway. Enjoy the extensive views from the top and learn about the major landforms around Settle. Experience the beauty of springtime in Cleatop Park Wood and hear about how the woodland is managed by the National Park. You may even see wild deer.

A level 4 YDNPA walk; the route includes steps, many stiles, uneven ground and steep gradients across open countryside. Please wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear with good grips, walking boots are recommended.

Please bring a packed lunch.

Dogs not allowed.

Free for age 18 and under, not suitable for young children
